Suh Young-jee (Han Ji-hye) is a bubbly, cheerful young woman. She is the eldest sister of three living with her jobless, drunk father. She tries to make ends meet by taking on different jobs. She meets Jung Ah-mi (Song Sun-mi) who is a plastic surgeon. The two become friends, and Young-jee starts working for Ah-mi as house helper. Despite being one of the most reknowned plastic surgeons in Korea, and a sought out bachelorette, Ah-mi has a dark past. She is an illegitimate child (her mother was a mistress), and had been treated poorly by her step-sisters.

Not wanting to go on an arranged date, Ah-mi asks Young-jee to go on the date and to pretend to be her and sabotage the date. Young-jee meets Kim Joon-woo (Kim Suk-hoon) who is a curator and son of a art gallery owner. Young-jee tries her hardest to get Joon-woo to dislike her...but it turns out that Joon-woo is attracted to her! Young-jee also finds herself attracted to Joon-woo. But once Joon-woo finally meets the real Ah-mi and finds out the truth about Young-jee's background, the two find it difficult to be true to their feelings, but also find it very difficult to deny it as well...
